There are certain things one must keep in mind while teaching English online and the first thing begins with accurate and proper knowledge of the language as well as that of the audience. Whereas a lot of extra effort must be given when it comes to educational pieces of content but that has to be crisp, otherwise, your channel is bound to face a high bounce rate.

The audience loves it when they can relate to something practical on social media irrespective of the content they are watching. Be it a meme or an emotional post, netizens go gaga when they feel that the relevance of the post is a major happening in everyday life. Similarly, language learners will also go through the full video if they find that the content is not boring or monotonous but has an x-factor that will make them glued to it.

Suppose, your content is based on rhyming words and you have a batch of young learners to teach English. Monetizing content on a youtube channel needs to have a minimum of 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours. You have to plan accordingly in order to reach that level and nobody can help you in this case but social media. Make sure your social media profiles on Facebook and Instagram are publicand people can have the access to watch your youtube channels. Add relevant hashtags and graphics or images on the thumbnail of your video. This attracts your audience to a huge extent.

Sharing the links of your content on Twitter tagging authentic pages and adding relatively same hashtags will draw more traffic to your content. Suppose you're teaching English in language schools and you realize that your students are quite tech-savvy. If you have a good rapport with them, they can help you a lot in gaining followers and subscribers by sharing your content.

Once your content is meeting the requirement of Youtube, it will start adding advertisement videos related to your content which will start fetching money. Initially, the amount of money will not be hefty but if you keep working consistently and regularly check on the demands of your fellow audience, you will end up delivering updated content which eventually will bring more traffic.
